- Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) — CDTA is the region’s tranist operator. Check out their site for information on bus routes/schedules, fares, current transit projects, bikes on busses and much more!
- Capital District Transportation Committee (CDTC) — CDTC is the designated Metropolitan Planning Orgnaization (MPO) for Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Schenectady Counties. - Cornell Bicycle and Pedestrian Website — This is an excellent resource that should help in anyone’s search for the elements of a bicycle and pedestrian friendly community and answers to questions about bicycle and pedestrian transportation concerns.
- League of American Bicyclists — The League of American Bicyclists is a great resource for advocacy and education information for a bicycle-friendly America
- New York Bicycling Coalition (NYBC) – NYBC is the statewide bicycle advocacy organization whos mission is to provide a coherent, credible voice for the interests of all bicyclists in the state, on- or off-road, recreational or racer.
- New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee (GTSC) – GTSC awards Federal highway safety grant funds to local, state and not-for-profit agencies for projects to improve highway safety and reduce deaths and serious injuries due to crashes.
- Parks and Trails New York (PTNY) — PTNY’s mission is to expand, protect and promote a network of parks, trails, and open spaces throughout our state for use and enjoyment by all.
